Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) and the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) to create and operate toll discount programs for veterans. Eligible veterans with active electronic toll collection accounts on vehicles they own or lease registered in New Jersey would receive a 50% discount on tolls. Proof of honorable discharge from military service is required to qualify for the discount.
