Overview
This bill requires the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to install lactation rooms at airports within their jurisdiction. Airports with over 1 million enplanements annually must provide a private room with a chair, electrical outlet, and be located outside a public restroom. Airports with between 10,000 and 1 million enplanements must provide a similar room upon the construction or renovation of a terminal, including a sink. The bill awaits action by the State of New York.
