Overview
This bill changes how New Jersey’s Green Acres funds can be used. It allows certain nonprofit organizations to receive the full amount of Green Acres funding for projects on state-owned land, specifically for development, repairs, or improvements. The bill supplements the existing Garden State Preservation Trust Act to make this possible. However, the Department of Environmental Protection can still require matching funds from these organizations if they choose.
