The Guidance Out of Darkness Act, or the GOOD Act, requires federal agencies to make their guidance documents more accessible to the public. Agencies must publish new guidance documents online on the same day they are issued, and all existing guidance documents must be compiled in a single, easily accessible location on the agency’s website. The website must also prominently display a link to these documents and clearly indicate which documents have been rescinded, including the reason for rescission.
