Democracy works when people show up.

Civik is a civic engagement platform built on one premise: the connection between constituents and their elected representatives should be direct, verified, and structured for outcomes. The platform exists to make that connection work.

What we are building

Every legislative session, thousands of bills move through state capitols. Most constituents never hear about them until they become law. Legislators, meanwhile, hear loudest from organized lobbyists and advocacy groups, not the people who live in their districts.

Civik closes that gap. We sync live legislative data from official state APIs, verify constituent identity by address and district, and provide structured channels for residents to take positions on the bills that affect their communities. Legislators see aggregated sentiment from verified constituents in their actual districts.

The platform is modeled on the legislative chamber itself. Every interaction serves a specific function: taking a position on a real bill, presenting an evidence-based argument, or engaging directly with a representative.

How it works

District-verified identity

Your address ties you to your real representatives. When you take a stance on a bill, your legislator knows it comes from someone they actually represent.

Live legislative data

Bills, votes, committee actions, and testimony synced directly from official state APIs. Always current. Always sourced from the public record.

Structured engagement

You take a position on a real bill, attach supporting evidence if you have it, and send it through a direct channel to the representative who votes on it. The platform is built around legislative outcomes, and the interface reflects that.

Three roles, one platform

Constituents track bills and take positions. Legislators see verified sentiment from their districts. Organizations mobilize supporters around specific legislation. Each role has its own dashboard, its own tools, and its own view of the same underlying data.
